My friend Congo Dave wanted a clean print of his incredible Discus fish collection. This is the 90-gallon tank in his living room. All the plants and driftwood are real, and this was shot with available light only. Recorded on a Panasonic HPX175 mounted to a Redrock M2 Cinema Adapter. Prime lens is a Nikon 55mm f1.4, and the whole thing was shot with the aperture wide open. Focal depth was under 4 inches, so shooting these moving targets got a bit tricky, as I was manually adjusting the lens to pull focus.
